Florence pt 3 - The Gucci Garden

This is the last of my Florence series (previously I shared where to eat in Florence and spectacle captures of the city). Back when I did my shoe selfies, I flagged how good taste is not bound to any one thing, let alone labels. And labels alone mean nothing; it’s the story and craftsmanship that drives the aesthetics.

Gucci has become such a common household name that it’s hard to imagine it was ever revolutionary in anything. However, when you step inside The Gucci Garden you’re reminded of the imagination and innovation that this Italian house embodies. The three floor museum opened its doors in 2018 at the heart of Florence by Creative Director Alessandro Michele. Like the Musée Yves Saint Laurent in Paris, The Gucci Garden attempts to give a different insight into the brand and invite you to be part of its fashion History.

It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re interests are this way inclined. Here are some of the beautiful details that caught my eye…
