Floral Lookbook
I know. Photographing flowers is conceptually predictable and mundane. And that’s coming from a flower lover like me. It’s a bit of bore due to the subject matter, but there is also no denying that the aesthetics of flowers can really uplift your spirits. Even if you aren’t that way inclined (or you’re a man :p) surely even you can’t deny that the presence of flowers (just like any other aesthetic detailing) can transform the room. Even if you don’t actively notice it.
What’s also noteworthy, the name ‘things that make stop walking’ actually from flowers! I was walking with a colleague down the sunny streets of London and came across a flush of flowers outside a shop. I literally stopped and asked my colleague if he wouldn’t mind waiting a minute for me to take a picture. And that’s exactly how the name of this blog came about. A bunch of flowers that made me stop walking. Here they are….
So, in the post I’ve pulled together a selection of flower photographs which I don’t actually think are predictable at all. They’ve been taken from different perspectives, angles (and some even stretch the definition of ‘flowers’). When whizzing down them they always make me feel (incrementally) better. Hopefully this short ‘flower look book’ will make you feel a little good too…
